BROODMARES
Wunderschoen SH (“Beautiful” in German/aka Peanut): 2006 Hanoverian mare by Widmark out of Frizette (see sold page).
Peanut is a lovely mare, very pretty and sweet. She was recently started under saddle and her
rideability is amazing. She is always trying and has 3 wonderful gaits – a nice big walk, lofty
trot and big, jumpy canter. She is very feminine, elegant and was described as a lovely, dainty mover.
We were planning to take Wunderschoen SH to the Hanoverian Mare Performance Test last fall (2009), but unfortunately
due to a trailer accident, she was not able to participate. However, she just went to her Hanoverian inspection on
July 15, 2010 and Peanut received her Elite Mare candidate status. Now if she passes her Performance test after her
filly has been weaned, she will become an Elite Mare. Her first foal by Domiro "Donna Bella SH" received Top Filly of
the inspection honors. We are very, very proud of our girls!!
We were planning to take Wunderschoen SH to the Hanoverian Mare Performance Test last fall (2009), but unfortunately due to a trailer accident, she was not able to participate. We now hope to be able to present her at the next inspection later on this year.
Rossini SH: 2008 Hanoverian Mare by Rotspon out of EM Balldame (Bolero). Sissi is our upcoming broodmare prospect who
combines some of the best bloodlines for the dressage arena. We are looking forward to seeing her grow up to become
quite the dressage star and mother in foal to Widmark for a 2012 foal which should
be quite a dressage star.
MANHATTAN (registered name “Precious Icon”): Manhattan is a 1997 Dutch Warmblood mare by Rolls Royce (Sire of Rocher/formerly ridden by George Williams) who we sold in 2005 to Wendy & Marty Costello of Kent Island Sporthorses in Maryland. Thanks to Wendy & Marty who gave us the opportunity to purchase this wonderful mare back.
Manhatten is our most productive broodmare with 4 foals to date. She had 2 foals by Donavan
and 2 foals by Rosall. The first Rosall foal was awarded premium at the German
Oldenburg inspection. Manhattan is German Oldenburg approved and in foal to
Harvard (Hohenstein) for a 2012 youngster.
